Our work depends on a Quality Lead joining our team to support NASA activities at NASA Headquarters in Washington DC.

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Quality Lead supporting NASA, you will work directly with the program manager to execute the quality assurance program within the contract. 


  • Provide expertise, resources, and independent evaluations of quality assurance related to the contract
  • Develops and applies quality standards and maintains the Quality Management/Assurance Plan in accordance with company and customer requirements.
  • Develop methods to monitor and measure risk, compliance, and assurance efforts
  • Contributes to the performance of quality assurance tests and certificates of analysis.
  • Interface with NASA Mission Assurance Staff on contract-wide and specific Center and/or Facility policies and procedures
  • Perform and participate in quality assessments and audits across the contract to measure overall program quality
  • Assesses potential risks and compliance issues and provides recommendations.
  • Supports the implementation and monitoring of corrective actions
  • Develops reports on quality metrics
  • Liaises with external vendors, contractors or suppliers to ensure products or services meet the organizations quality standards.
  • Coordinates and performs quality trainings and documents the entire quality testing process.


  • Bachelor’s degree in related field with 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of Federal requirements and industry quality assurance standards and practices (required)
  • Understanding of tracking, metrics, surveillance methods, sampling methods and reporting for large IT enterprise contracts.
  • Must have excellent communication skills (oral and writing)
  • Ability to interface with all levels of employees and organizational functions.
  • Strong analytical skills are necessary to evaluate needs, mandated programs, strategic plans and performance metrics to ensure continuous improvements
  • Industry recognized quality certification(s) desired
