Own your opportunity as a Technical Mandarin Linguist/Analyst at GDIT and you’ll help to ensure the safety and security of our nation. You’ll deliver actionable insights to meet even the most complex requirements of the Intelligence Community. At GDIT, you’ll help advance the mission while you advance your career.
As a Technical Mandarin Linguist, joining our team to research monitor and analyze intelligence data and makes recommendations based on that data.
How Technical Mandarin Linguist/Analyst will make an impact.
- Must be a level 3/3 regarding reading and writing the Chinese language.
- Must possess both written and verbal translation with focus on the use of technical, intelligence related and SME technology.
- Provides analysis and research for national security, infrastructure, technology, country, geographic area, biographic and targeted vulnerability.
- Prepares assessments of current threats and trends based on the sophisticated collection, research and analysis of classified and open-source information.
- Develops and maintains analytical procedures to meet changing requirements and ensure maximum operational success.
- Collects data using a combination of standard intelligence methods and business processes.
- May provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced staff.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related technical or military discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work/military experience.
- Required Experience: 5-8 years of related experience supporting intelligence operations.
- Required Technical Skills: Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies and subject areas.
- Security Clearance Level: A Current TS/SCI w Poly
- Preferred Skills: 5-8 years of related experience supporting intelligence operations.
- Location: Herndon, VA.
