Contributes to completion of specific engineering programs and projects.

Develops solutions to a variety of complex engineering problems of moderate scope and complexity.

Performs complex systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the end.

Oversight of complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools.

Performs complex systems modeling, simulation, and analysis.

Performs continual maintenance and provides complex solutions for security, backup and redundancy problems.

Prepares and maintains a range of documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects.

May provide guidance to less-experienced Systems Engineers.

Maintains current knowledge of rapidly changing technology.

May coach and review the work of less-experienced professionals.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of experience

The project integrator ensures smooth running of our program’s workload and contributes in driving its sustainable growth. This position will work closely with the PMO, project managers, and various software engineering, infrastructure, and technical operations teams to assess requirements, coordinate resources, and help deliver projects for the customer. The candidate will perform administrative tasks, such as record keeping for procurement and invoicing, to ensure that program staff have adequate support to work efficiently.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, highly organized and detail-oriented, and has experience developing workflows in Jira and tailoring processes to function effectively in a small, fast-paced environment. The candidate must be at ease working in an agile environment with little supervision and should be passionate about continuous improvement and innovation.  


  • Manage the onboarding process for new hires
  • Manage the procurement process and ensure timely orders and deliveries of materials and services that meet customer requirements
  • Create purchase orders (POs) to maintain adequate material flow based on forecasting
  • Track inventory and restock goods when needed
  • Submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned, and assist colleagues as needed
  • Track program requests and manage updates to provide customer with the status of each task
  • Provide administrative and operational management of assigned project tasks
  • Collaborate regularly with a variety of customers and contractors, which may include meeting coordination and preparation/support of project plans, reports, and status (e.g., PMR) briefings
  • Attend customer meetings and potentially serve as primary liaison
  • Interact with vendors, other agencies, and other customer staff on customer’s behalf
  • Work with customers to develop Jira projects and workflows
  • Operate, administer, and maintain customized Jira Projects (e.g., workflows, screen schemes, custom fields, permission schemes, dashboards, and notification schemes).
  • Create/maintain Confluence spaces and permission schemes
  • “Garden” Confluence spaces to ensure accurate and updated information
  • Provide user management, training, and Jira support to development and project teams as needed


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, certifications, training, and work/military experience.


  • Demonstrated experience with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Demonstrated experience with Atlassian Suite and features, with an understanding of general administration and configuration to maximize efficiency in using the tool
  • Demonstrated on-the-job experience effectively communicating across programs and with customers, stakeholders, and other contractors
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently or with a small team
  • Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills to work with team members to gather and understand business requirements and translate into optimal solutions
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills


  • Demonstrated on-the-job experience in project management fundamentals using approved tools and techniques in the execution of IT activities (e.g., scheduling, execution, and monitoring/controlling)
  • Experience with inventory and procurement
  • Agile experience or Certification
  • Demonstrated experience developing and deploying custom plugins for Jira
  • Experience in creating and successfully implementing strategy for customer organizations
  • Microsoft Excel skills for manipulating Jira exports
