Join General Dynamic Information Technology’s (GDIT’s) Defense Division as a Test Engineer Advisor for an exciting new contract. In this position, you will be responsible for designing and developing tests and test requirements for products, systems, software, and/or related components.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the creation and automation of test plans and scripts for various testing environment including but not limited to load, performance, system, regression
  • Consults with developers, engineers and recommends the appropriate test requirements
  • Identifies potential software and hardware shortfalls and risks, and recommends mitigation strategies
  • Collaborates with application developers, engineers and administrators to isolate and fix any bottlenecks in application/system performance and functionality
  • Prepares reports and documentation to convey the results and test findings
  • Analyzes system requirements and concept of operations documents, acquisition plans, and system descriptions to develop evaluation and test plans and procedures; prepares for and conducts the data collection and analysis, and reports status and results
  • Supports the development of Government test and evaluation documentation e.g., Test & Evaluation (T&E) Strategy, Test & Evaluation Master Plan, Event Test Plans, Test Readiness Assessments, and T&E Reports
  • Works with other test organizations to support T&E program integration
  • Provides specialized T&E capabilities tailored to system functions, level, maturity, and performance areas

Required Skills and Experience:

  • MS and 8+ years of Test Engineering experience or BS with equivalent professional experience
  • CompTIA Security+ or similar for IAT Level II DoD 8570 certification
  • Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, growth-focused environment
