AFM Senior Database Administrator

Join General Dynamics IT and be a part of the team of men and women that solve some of the world’s most complex technical challenges. The Air Force Financial Management (AFM) program is seeking a Database Administrator to join their team at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH.

In this role, you will perform as the Oracle Database Administrator for AFM. Main duties include database design, development and maintenance using SQL and PL/SQL.

Other duties include:

• Perform application tuning for Oracle 11g database applications

• Assist application developers in writing SQL and stored procedures to access data in the Oracle 11g databases.

• Perform design of tables and views to implement new functionality in these databases.

• Use Export Data Pump and Import Data Pump to perform backup of data whenever application developers request this data.

Basic Qualifications:

• BS degree; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree

• 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator

• Experience with Oracle 11g and SQL

• Experience with Export and Import Data Pump

• Security+

• Secret clearance
