Minimum three years of experience in application of the Joint Air Force Army Navy 6/0 and 6/9, Intelligence Community Directive 705 (ICD 705) and Intelligence Community Standard 705 (ICS 705)
Must have Top Secret/SCI clearance with SAP/SAR eligibility
The Security Official is responsible for a range of security activities and policies to include, but not limited to:
The Security Official will evaluate, design and supervise the installation and system level operations of alarm systems and access control systems to ensure compliance with customer security standards; analyze, develop, and implement cost effective physical security solutions for a variety of programs and customers; participate in the development of technical specifications and operating parameters to obtain customer approval for technical security requirements affecting secure areas; review all plans for security items and approve construction; facilitate and assist with all aspects of lock and key security, including all GSA approved locking devices; maintain records related accountability of security containers/locks; partner with program security managers to ensure all testing and training are done on the companys Intrusion Detection System(s); serve as primary liaison with the external alarm monitoring provider to ensure security of controlled areas; supervise the duties and responsibilities of uniformed security officers; develop operational and security procedures required to maintain and/or improve the level of security.
