General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) has an immediate need for Sr. Systems Analyst- Litigation/eDiscovery

  • Manages a team of litigation support professionals supporting electronic discovery, processing, and outgoing production requests, ensures that SLAs are met, and QCs the team's output.
  • Creates project timetables and delegates tasks to ensure that assignments are completed on schedule.
  • Manages health of server environment hosting eDiscovery Processing databases and associated file shares.
  • Monitors performance, storage reports, and error logs.  Configure storage schema to accommodate current and future needs for file repositories, search indexes, and work produce.
  • Oversees and performs application installations and upgrades, including eDiscovery Processing Tools.
  • Coordinates with infrastructure personnel to ensure that prerequisites are met and to minimize disruption to users.  Works closely with software vendors for preparation and issue troubleshooting.
  • Creates, maintains, and presents processing statistics and reports.  Runs weekly reports as well as adhoc reports upon request.  Creates charts and visuals for use in presentations.
  • Utilizes eDiscovery Processing Tools to process data for litigation databases, including various review platforms.
  • Advise on database specifications including field types, views, custom searches, user permissions, and indexing strategy.
  • Create, revise, and document the processing workflow to adhere to changes in customer requirements, application capabilities, and new incoming data types.
  • Archives inactive databases and associated externally-linked files.  Recall archived databases when requested.
  • Develops testing plans and tests database applications on various platforms during software upgrades and operating system maintenance.
  • Advises on electronic discovery workflow encompassing each portion of the eDiscovery Reference Model (EDRM).  Coordinates with other teams to ensure that the team's processes from start to finish are documented, repeatable, and defensible.
  • Trains new employees in processing and internal procedures.

This program only accepts US citizens and/or Green Card Holders.  The security clearance for this program requires the selected candidate to have resided in the US for the past five years and not have left the country for longer than 90 consecutive days.

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year institution in a computer science, information system or related field
  • Experience monitoring database application health, installation of application components, and planning upgrades
  • Knowledge of litigation discovery process and EDRM workflow
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience performing electronic file processing, image and data file conversion, data culling using review tools, quality assurance, database loading and retrieval, and forensic analysis
  • Self-motivated, self-directed with ability to perform and complete tasks with minimal guidance and provide litigation support to USPS management in supporting the daily work performed by other team members
  • Occasionally performs other job-related tasks in support of primary duties
  • Must be able to obtain and retain a Public Trust Clearance
