PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with design, marketing, and product teams to create sophisticated digital experiences using CSS, HTML, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Maintain, support, evolve, and own our federal client’s design system leveraging Drupal 7.
  • Experience developing Drupal APIs, and knowledge of NodeJS implementations.
  • Translate static assets from web designers into dynamic web experiences.
  • Provide content management and creation support requested from various internal stakeholders.
  • Research, establish, and enforce code and design standards for maintainability, usability, performance, and accessibility.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
  • Contribute to product and technical documentation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree or comparable work experience and training.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, CSS Frameworks (knowledge of Sass preferred) and JavaScript (including jQuery).
  • Experience with designing and building responsive, mobile-first web pages.
  • User-centric approach to solving technical challenges.
  • Experience with Drupal 7 and Drupal 8+ development and Drupal 7 and Drupal 8+ theming
  • Experience with the Adobe Acrobat and Photoshop.
  • Experience with Git and GitHub.
  • Experience with web accessibility tools such as SiteImprove and WAVE.
  • Experience designing and building HTML emails and using email marketing platforms a plus.
  • Experience creating, maintaining, and extending a front-end design system or style guide a plus.
  • Ability to estimate, balance, and adhere to timelines.
  • Ability to present your work as well as create and receive written and verbal feedback.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Team player comfortable working in a cross-functional team and enjoys collaborating with others.

Vaccination requirements will depend on the status of the federal contractor mandate and customer site requirements.

The likely salary range for this position is $84,000 - $126,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
