Our work depends on a Senior Project Manager Advisor joining our team to support the government client activities in Annapolis Junction, MD.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be trusted to be detailed-oriented, resourceful, results driven and able to multi-task and prioritize under deadlines in support of multiple teams and our clients. In this role, your responsibilities will include:
Provide technical, administrative, and operational management of assigned projects, including contract and subcontractor management
Supervises assigned staff and manages assigned resources
Plan, execute, and close projects that meet or exceed customer objectives
Attends customer meetings and serve as the project’s client liaison with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff
Create clear and attainable project objectives, build project requirements, and manage constraints of cost, time, scope, and quality
Develop the overall project plan and manage project operations
Manage the project stakeholders, project team, project risk, project schedule, project budget, and project conflicts
Ensure team members know and execute their respective roles and the roles of the other team members
Ensure production schedules are met and system resources are used effectively
Conducts planning and provides recommendations to client on task workload
Coordinate resolution of production-related problems, manages risk tracking process, and coordinates development of deliverables and products
Ensure proper relationships are established between customers, teaming partners, and vendors to facilitate the delivery of information technology services
Participates in special projects as required
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
TS/SCI with Poly is required
Bachelors Degree and 5 years experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience managing projects for a wide variety of IT solutions as well as
Excellent relationship-building experience
Superior written and oral communication skills
Effective management skills
Effective administrative and organizational skills
Experience with Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
PMI PMP (Project Manager Professional) or CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) certification highly preferred
