GDIT is seeking a Junior Database Administrator in Falls Church, VA, to work with senior database administrators on day-to-day tasks. In this role, you will perform database administration functions for GDIT’s contract to support the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) Priority Telecommunications Services (PTS), delivered through service providers’ public networks.  PTS provides priority voice, video and data communications to the National Security/Emergency Preparedness community in times when the public telecommunications networks are experiencing stress due to natural or man-made disasters, such as hurricanes, earthquakes, terrorist attacks or other acts of war.

Job Specific Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year experience with administration of Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or higher.
  • Some experience writing SQL stored procedures
  • Good understanding of database relationships, data normalization, functions, and triggers.
  • Experience/Knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud a big plus
  • Ability to work independently as well as in cross functional teams 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain a DHS EOD clearance
