As an Installation Team Lead this position will be responsible for planning and support site surveys, network engineering, BOM development, site documentation verification, physical security verification and attend required meetings to support the network installation team. Maintains a complex range of computer network components and systems. Plans and coordinates major information technology initiatives. Responsible for all related planning; installation; configuration; operations and maintenance; documentation; coordination and network engineering activities related to network equipment installation. Provide coordination with customer's network engineers to ensure installed/LCR equipment has been documented within the network monitoring system, Network Configuration Manager (NCM) and Access Control System (ACS). Perform off?site surveys, installation, configuration, maintenance, documentation, hardware support, and testing at CONUS and OCONUS locations, as required. Meets regularly with other network team leads to plan and coordinate efforts, resolve cross-team issues and communicate changes.

  • CCNA required, CCNP preferred
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 required
  • ITIL Foundation certification preferred
  • Has full technical knowledge of all phases of enterprise network operations
  • Must be able to evaluate network performance and interact with users to solve complex networking problems
  • Defense Security Service (DSS) documentation experience
  • CNSSAM TEMPEST 1-13 RED/BLACK Separation documentation experience
  • Building, Industry, Consulting, Service International (BICSI) standards experience
  • Excellent communication skills; shows tact, effective listening skills and follow through
  • May be required to provide clear written documentation on network procedures
  • Must have a solid understaning of network routing protocols and methodology
  • Reviews the work of others and is able to detect errors or needed modifications
