GDIT is seeking a Field Trainer Journeyman to support engineering and technical services to the IBD-SS program with operations located at Fort Belvoir VA.
Successful candidates will support our customer in creating capabilities and providing technical services, subject matter expertise, and software solutions and services for platforms such as the Integrated Base Defense (IBD) Kitting, Entry Control Point (ECP), Non-Intrusive Inspection System (NIIS), Rapid Reaction Tunnel Detection (R2TD), Joint Defense Operation Center (JDOC), Combat Outpost Force Protection System (COSFPS), Base Expeditionary Targeting Surveillance System Combined (BETSS-C), BETSS-C Cerberus Scout, BETSS-C Full Motion Video (FMV) , Bistatic Surveillance System (BSS), Rapid Deployment Integrated Surveillance System (RDISS), Force Protection (FP) Suite and Husky Mounted Detection System (HMDS, AN/VSS-6A) Suite of Systems. This support is an essential in maintaining readiness for today's modern platform sensor systems.
Create curriculum to support multiple facets of the FP system training program
Develop and update course content, materials, and curriculum, specifically focused on the enhancement of the overall FPS mission
Other duties as determined by the Program Manager
BS degree and 4 years of relevant technical experience or AA/AS degree and 6 years of relevant experience or HS diploma and 8 years of relevant experience
DoD 8570 technical certifications as directed by the government and Program Manager
US Government Secret or higher level security clearance as required
Be capable of lifting and carrying 40+ lbs. for short distances
