Provide a high level of ongoing support for Center’s M365 presence, including SharePoint Online, PowerBI, Teams, Planner, PowerApps, PowerAutomate etc. The presence will provide staff with workflows, dashboards, document management capabilities, collaboration tools and other custom solutions to meet the business needs of the Center. This includes regular maintenance and upgrade tasks, as well as development of enhancements, business process workflows, reports, and dashboards. Some requests, such as development and design changes, may require more in-depth analysis.
Meet with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements to meet business needs and define project scope.
Add SharePoint features and functionality to enhance business processes, including evaluating, selecting, and implementing SharePoint and Office365 solutions.
Analyze and plan for upgrade of functionality previously implemented in on-premise SharePoint sites to modern SharePoint online;
Monitor and test any new releases and patches to base SharePoint software.
Create workflows to automate forms and business processes
Assist with troubleshooting advanced technical issues related to SharePoint and Office 365.
Encourage and help facilitate adoption of Office 365 tools such as Planner, Teams, Power Platform tools and integration with SharePoint custom solutions.
Provide guidance for SharePoint workflows and user permissions management.
Serve as technical point of contact on the CDC and Center’s Office 365 Technical Working Group.
Lead the adaptation of Office 365 services including, but not limited to: SharePoint Online, and Office 365 tool suite etc.
Provide solutions and problem resolution to customers with technical recommendations, customer outreach and training for the SharePoint platform
Create and maintain pertinent documentation including, but not limited to: Standard Operating Procedures, security artifacts, training materials, etc.
Demonstrate high levels of customer service and thorough knowledge of SharePoint implementations. Excellent working knowledge of technical analytical skills in web environments, Microsoft products, SharePoint security, and user support is required.
Adhere to CDC and HHS information security and privacy regulations.
10+ years progressive experience in managing/leading IT programs, preferably with significant O365 and SharePoint experience.
Required skills and experience:
Expertise in M365 application (e.g., SharePoint online, Teams, Power APPs) with a proven track-record of designing complex, large O365 transformational programs, including hybrid configuration and Identity and Access management
Deep technical Skills and capable of serving as a SME across all the M365 technologies.
Need to collaborate and work across a broad set of engineers and lead the design and recommend solutions/strategy to the O365 program.
M365 Subject Matter Expert within the business and to the end customers, responsible for delivering enterprise sized O365 solutions.
Acting as a trusted advisor for customers providing O365 roadmap and insight into customer-specific business requirements, budget, and timelines
Knowledge of various programming languages is a plus (.net framework. C#, and Visual Basic)
Knowledge of SharePoint site collection and site features
Experience in the Public Health sector (preferred)
