You will be joining a new, agile digital transformation initiative to improve the program’s global effectiveness, increase operational visibility into its IT assets, and drive cost savings by implementing the full range of ServiceNow capabilities, to include IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), IT Business Management (ITBM), Security Operation (SECOPs), Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC).
Collaborate with team members to define, analyze, understand, and document business and technical requirements.
Performs configuration work in the platform.
Participates in the design, development, configuration, and customization (when necessary) of ServiceNow applications and services.
Participate in all SCRUM ceremonies and/or discussions with team members and stakeholders.
Work with end users, stakeholders, and manage to define and create reports, dashboards, and data analysis products.
Design and develop/configure workflows, forms, scripts and underlying logic using SCRUM/Agile methodologies.
Provide deployment, end-user support, and technical documentation for US BICES-X program information and business applications
Create estimations on effort required to produce ServiceNow functionalities and features.
Actively collaborates with other teammates to perform development reviews, discuss new developments and projects, and shadow developers as needed
Perform hands–on design, development, and modification to extend capabilities offered by the ServiceNow platform.
Participate in internal and customer meetings understand requirements, identify unique use cases, and implement information technology solutions / initiatives.
Perform full-spectrum of software development lifecycle (SDLC), to include systems modeling, simulation, analysis, testing and debugging assigned components and units.
Maintain all agreed upon professional and technical certifications you have and are given the opportunity to achieve.
1+ years of technical experience required.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a relevant field – may substitute additional years of experience
Must meet DOD 8750 requirements and be eligible for IAT level II access upon hire for positions with elevated privileges and must obtain ITIL V4 Foundation within six months of hire. Additional specific certifications may be required, depending on job assignment.
Intermediate knowledge of software engineering principles, methods, and techniques.
Intermediate knowledge of the hardware, software, and systems associated with software engineering.
Experience with ServiceNow development, including core ITSM tables, Glide, scripting, business rules, client scripts, data imports, custom apps, and development methods
Experience with ServiceNow Service Portal design and end-user/customer experience such as development of professional, compelling design and graphical interface for Service Portal
Knowledge of REST and SOAP web services protocols
Database design and development
Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies.
Experience with Agile development methodology, requirements management, JIRA (or similar RTM platforms)
Knowledge of SAML, Active Directory, or LDAP
