Logistics Analyst

Guantanamo Bay, CUBA

Individual in this role shall provide logistics support to track, account for, ship, and manage IT equipment records. Should have demonstrated experience performing in a role performing functions such as:

  • Provide assistance and support in maintaining an IT Asset Management environment that aligns with the customer’s framework.

  • Support IT service delivery in accordance with the respective IT service performance metrics, including contracted service level agreements (SLAs), operating level agreements (OLAs), and Associate Contractor Agreements (ACAs).

  • Provide asset and configuration management teams support in accordance with organizational policies and procedures, using asset management systems to record, track, monitor, and update component configurations and configuration items and changes and account for locally controlled assets.

  • Support customer logistics requirements through the analysis, organization, planning, and administration of various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, maintenance, and/or repair activities.

  • Performs functions such as demand forecasting,  material procurement, production planning, inventory control, inventory reductions, cost savings, outsourcing, vendor selection and distribution.

  • Create integrated processes among internal functions and outside suppliers.

  • Develop logistics policies and procedures.

Required Certifications:

  • None

Desired Certifications/Experience:

  • GCCS-Army Certification(s) (GTRAC)

  • DOD logistics, Army preferred

  • DLA equipment disposition

  • PBO equipment accountability regulations

Education Requirements:

  • BA/BS with 2 – 5 Years’ experience in military logistics management, Asset data entry, or IT equipment record management. Additional experience in lieu of formal education will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
