GDIT is looking for a full-stack software developer to lead building of a new modern digital health survey system. The project involves implementing highly interactive and modern web interfaces that will be used across the country. The project will be implemented using an Agile, Scrum-based process that includes Sprint Planning/Review/Retrospectives and daily stand-ups. The team uses human-centered design to implement highly modern, usable interfaces. This position is open to a senior to principal professional that ideally has technical leadership experience.
This is remote based role/100% telecommute. Candidates must reside in the United States
Developing front-end web application with ReactJs or similar technologies
Design RESTful backend microservices and develop them using Node.js
Develop applications that will integrate with nosql databases
Utilize build tools like webpack, npm, and gulp/grunt
Work as part of a dynamic, interactive Agile team developing and delivering digital services
Bachelor's degree in technological or related field and a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree with a minimum of 3 years’ experience
Knowledge of modern design patterns and building enterprise-grade production applications
Experience with web technologies such as HTML and CSS
Experience developing front-end web user interfaces with ReactJs or similar technologies
Experience with designing RESTful backend microservices and developing them using Node.js
Experience with database integration, relational and nosql
Experience with build tools like webpack, npm, and gulp/grunt
Excellent command of written and spoken English
Candidate must reside in the United States
Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary
Nice to Have:
Experience working with cloud services in AWS or Azure.
Experience with low code technologies such as AppSmith or Budibase
Experience with automated testing frameworks such as Jest, Sinon, and Enzyme
Prior experience working remotely full-time
The likely salary range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
