Are you a creative and skilled instructional developer and multi-media producer with experience building high quality asynchronous, technology-based learning that enables performance and drives measurable results? Do you have proven experience developing interactive, application- based learning experiences that captivate, engage, and motivate employees? Do you have a knack for effectively incorporating graphics, animation, and video into learning products and a passion for user experience and accessibility? Do you have a solid foundation in adult learning and instructional design that brings your learning products to life and creates the desired business impact?
As a member of our Enterprise Learning & Development Team, you’ll hit the ground running by supporting the development multi-faceted learning programs, materials, and tools with an emphasis on high impact asynchronous solutions that enhance the professional development skills critical to our workforce. This includes involvement in our compliance and systems learning programs, and knowledge-based learning needs across the L&D team. You will also seek excellence, with emphasis on continuous improvement in L&D for yourself, the design team and broader L&D function. Your role would be to develop program learning assets and materials including e-learning courseware, , facilitation guides, learner workbooks, job aids, animations, infographics, motion graphics, storyboards, technical scripts, learning badges, video editing, interactive media, etc., as needed.
HOW AN INTERACTIVE MEDIA DESIGN PRODUCER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
Balance the workload of multiple L&D Projects per the agreed upon timelines established by the L&D Professional Development Expert and Executive Sponsors. This includes providing high quality products and proactively following through on all project tasks and millstones for timely delivery.
Participate in project milestone meetings with Design Project Leader(s), Executive Sponsors and other stakeholders. Engagement activities include but are not limited to the following: reporting project updates; sharing program design/development progress and gaining necessary approvals.
Determine the visual graphic interfaces and print materials that will enable the desired performance outcomes, cascading learning objectives s, and measurement strategies for demonstrating the achievement of those outcomes.
Solicit insights from subject-matter experts by working with the lead instructional designer to determine targeted and meaningful questions to fully explore and understand the desired performance, synthesize the information collected, and appropriately incorporate SME feedback into the learning design.
Partner with Instructional Designers to determine ideal multi-media techniques and technologies to maximize engagement, learner experience, and efficiently achieve the learning objectives and desired performance outcomes.
Partner with Instructional Designers to communicate to business stakeholders the clear connections between program content/approach and the desired performance outcomes in achieving business results to gain sign-off, from a design perspective.
Partner with the Instructional Designers to bring to life program events, learning activities, and exercises (including sequencing and timing) leveraging graphics and multi-media, while also ensuring that learning is relevant, business-minded and engaging for participants.
Develop all program assets and materials including e-learning courseware, facilitation guides, learner workbooks, job aids, animations, infographics, motion graphics, storyboards, technical scripts, learning badges, video editing, interactive media, etc.
Collaborate with Instructional Designers and the L&D Operations Team to package, deliver and manage programs through the Learning Management System (as appropriate).
Collaborate with L&D Professional Development Expert and appropriate stakeholders to produce marketing material (as applicable) for new or enhanced learning and skill development programs to package and promote offerings it in highly intuitive, digestible, and compelling ways.
Ensure that all learning solutions are fully accessibility and meet usability standards.
Champion and influence the achievement of our GDIT L&D Mission and guiding principles, modeling the use of GDIT’S established Results-Orientated Agile Design process, tools, and templates; exhibit L&D Excellence and seek continues professional development.
Build strong consultative partnerships with Project Sponsors and Business Stakeholders.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Bachelor’s Degree AND 8+ years of related work experience in Graphic Design and/or Learning & Development. In lieu of degree, 12 years of related experience is required.
Demonstrated Instructional Development and Multi-Media Production Skills (samples/demo may be required during interview stage).
Demonstrated User Experience and User (UX) and User Interface (UI) perspective experience and insights.
A track record for creating interactive eLearning with user-friendly interfaces and intuitive navigation.
Demonstrated excellence with graphics, audio, video, and other multi-media to promote learning.
Strong written communicator with a proven ability to write concise, compelling, audience-centric scripts, prompts, and supporting materials.
A high level of proficiency with graphic design, multi-media design, and courseware development tools including articulate 360.
Working knowledge of adult learning and instructional design best practices.
Strong technical aptitude and a quick learner of new technologies and concepts.
Exemplary relationship building and collaboration skills.
Current experience interacting with senior leaders in a large, fast-paced, highly complex enterprise.
Must be willing to deliver a 15–20-minute presentation to Sr. Leadership as part of the final interview process, inclusive of sample materials from work portfolio.
Must have an extensive background in eLearning, learning and development / training graphic design, video learning, infographics, logos and branding, technical script writing, storyboarding, PowerPoint, and print materials (such as learner guides, quick reference or how to step guides, process flow, etc.)

Salary and Benefit Information
The likely salary range for this position is $84,000 - $126,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
