GDIT has an GREAT opportunity to join our project team in the development of an enterprise data management strategy for a large federal agency responsible for improving access to high-quality, coordinated health care services for underserved and medically vulnerable individuals.  

The strategy will enable the agency to optimize the use of its data resources and enhance its decision making process.  The work will include analysis of the end-to-end lifecycle of data, from creation to retirement, and the controlled progression of data to and from each stage within its lifecycle.  Our team will also assist the agency to establish the governance processes central to strategic planning.

This position requires a minimum of seven years’ experience, of which at least one year must be specialized. Specialized experience includes developing functional requirements for complex integrated systems. Must demonstrate the ability to work independently or under only general direction.

Functional Responsibility: Analyze user needs to determine functional requirements. Performs functional allocation to identify required tasks and their interrelationships. Identifies resources required for each task. Provides daily supervision and direction to support staff.

Minimum Education: BA/BS

Excellent communication skills – verbal and written – a must.  In addition, the successful candidate should possess experience in providing support for the following areas:

 

Development of processes / procedures in support of an Enterprise Data Strategy

Analysis of business processes and development of functional requirements across enterprise stakeholders

Capture and documentation of lessons learned

Work with program management to define and implement communication strategies
