We are seeking an experienced Information Analyst to support the Department of Homeland Security's Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) . In this position you would be receiving and disseminating information on cyber policy and procedures and working closely with Cyber Security subject matter experts to respond to requests for information from Congress, the White House, and other Government agencies. This position provides an opportunity to broaden your cyber security view within the Federal Government.

Must be a US Citizen with an active Secret or TS clearance

As an experienced analyst supporting CISA you will serve as focal point/liaison between senior leadership and cyber subject matter experts to provide guidance and materials that include process and procedural requirements and cyber policy documents.  You will be responsible for receiving requests for information and working with Federal subject matter experts to draft responses. These responses can be in the form of briefing memo’s, talking points, responses to Congressional questions, and budget and acquisitions responses. 

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Receive and respond to requests for information in a timely manner
  • Manage and oversee the quality control and document management requirements in accordance with established procedures, including enhancing staff awareness and understanding of leadership expectations for response timeliness and submission quality
  •  Facilitate the timely delivery of executive commitments and information, as appropriate.
  • Monitor and push items that are due and follow-up on overdue items.
  • Catalogue final submissions in a SharePoint data repository.
  • Apprise leadership of critical, upcoming, and anticipated tasks in anticipation of actions.
  • Report status and metrics to leadership.

Candidate Must Have:

  • Previous experience supporting DHS or another federal agency
  • Experience managing and tracking multiple information requests
  • Excellent Organizational Skills
  • The ability to prioritize and attend to conflicting client requests
  •  Excellent writing and editing skills
  •  Customer service oriented, focused and extremely responsive and energetic
  • Ability to perform tasks and make decisions independently
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity policies is a plus.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS, 5+ years experience

The position is on a team of seven.  This position requires frequent interaction with senior-level Federal clients.
