As an Administrative Assistant II, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Candidate will receive classification read-in to be able to handle and process highly classified documents. Discretion and judgment required because of access to highly sensitive, classified material
Candidate will interact nightly with customers (briefers), as well as with group management. Candidate is expected to protect all customer information and data acquired during preparation from unauthorized release and to employ the need to know" principle. Candidate will share duties with other team members and will complete tasks individually but will work closely with other team members and units to ensure efficient movement of materials through the workflow
Candidate will be cross trained to perform all team duties and is expected to back up other team members as directed by staff officer. Tasks require both verbal and written communication (mostly through internal chat software, but with some email communication). No briefings_ or presentations required
Candidate will be required to report to work despite government closures for weather emergencies and holidays unless there is no executive briefing to be published
Candidate's primary point of contact will inform candidate of those occasions. Little to no overtime work is required. Attendance is important, as this is a mission-critical position. When performing iPad duties, candidate will need to be able to lift small stacks of iPad and walk them to briefers. No travel is expected.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
HS Diploma and 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
TS/SCI with Polygraph
The candidate should expect four 10-hour night shifts on Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday. In times of staffing shortages, it will be expected that the contractor be able to shift to a five 8s schedule.
Proficient Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
