Were looking for a passionate, skilled, and driven Data Analyst to help our Technology Shared Services (TSS) Applications team with building solutions and driving value to our customers. This position will support business systems and application management for General Dynamics. Our ideal candidate will have experience in data analysis, application development, automation and workflow development, and database management.
Configures and manages custom applications and COTS products (e.g., Cornerstone, DocuSign).
Develops applications and interfaces for business process workflows.
Designs, develops, builds, and maintains application integrations through APIs and other data source connections.
Reviews and recommends SaaS application solutions and customizations to improve service delivery.
Designs, develops, builds, and maintains workflows and automations in Microsoft tools such as Power Automate.
Designs and develops dashboards, reporting, and analytics for senior management and decision-making with tools such as Microsoft Power BI and Tableau.
Administers and customizes Microsoft SharePoint sites, capabilities, and functionality.
Identifies and directs information needs and elements, data relationships and attributes, data flow and storage requirements, and data output and reporting capabilities.
Leads new data development ensuring consistency and integration with existing data warehouse structure.
Leads continuous improvement efforts in enhancing performance and providing increased functionality, which includes proactive maintenance such as ensuring continued space availability, monitoring activity, and documenting problems, changes, and solutions.
Designs data dictionaries, database structure and layout, and schema to support applications and analysis.
Serves as liaison with clients, participating in meetings to ensure client needs are met.
Participates in special projects as required.
The position requires a Bachelor’s degree, plus two years or more of experience with data and analytics.
Strong organization and time management skills
Certifications and experience in IT Service Management and/or ITIL
Experience with business intelligence solutions (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Experience with workflow and automation tools (e.g., Power Automate)
Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft 365 tools
Must be able to identify and learn new technologies quickly
Excellent written and presentation skills
Excellent understanding of the Agile software process and lifecycle
