GDIT is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team.
Contract requires US Citizenship and an active TOP SECRET/SCI Security Clearance Required.
Must be local to the area.
Create spreadsheets, or model, of project expenses for calculating how a future decision or happening may impact the organization.
Implement financial modeling/valuation to forecast, in detail, all costs associated with a major project and/or organizations budget (labor rates, products/components, services, leases, construction, etc.).
Assist project/financial managers in tracking exactly where a project and/or organization stands, to make critical acquisition/budgetary decisions with vital information on projected funding, labor rates, products, and more based on the current makeup of the market.
Collect the necessary accounting information for evaluation of every aspect of a major project and/or organization to make good financial decisions.
Examine financial records to determine accounting audit readiness and efficiency, and develops and implements procedures, databases, costs/bills tracking tools to ensure full accounting of all funding expenditures.
Be responsible for complex tasks in various financial functions such as budgeting, auditing, forecasting and analysis.
Prepare monthly forecast, risk assessment and variance analysis to both the client and GDIT program management.
Analyze and prepare the monthly forecast and current quarter and future projections.
Act as GDIT focal point for communication of project financials.
Develop long-range financial models in collaboration with the client financial team.
Ensures compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as other government regulations.
Maintains current knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Collaborate across organizations/functions for various lines of business.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of experience
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: United States Federal Government (Contractor/Federal Civilian or Military) Financial Modeling/Valuation - in the fields of
