Our work depends on a Senior Program Director joining our team to support restricted customer activities in the  DC Metro area.

At GDIT, we get work done. As a Senior Program Director supporting our restricted customer, you will be trusted to work on providing senior level management over a portfolio consisting of at least 3 major programs. In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Collaborating  with the restricted customer and assigned program manager’s/directors
  • Managing and responsible for the successful completion of all tasks in assigned program area including technical work, financial and business development activities.
  • Supervising assigned technical and administrative staff, including subordinate supervisors, and performs personnel actions including hiring and performance evaluation.
  • Directing program activities to meet client and organization work objectives and serves as a liaison with clients to coordinate activities, negotiate tasks, and solve problems.
  • Responsible for profitability and revenue growth of assigned program(s).
  • Assuring quality of program products, services, and deliverables, including participating in reviews, audits, and site visits.
  • Performing business development activities at all stages, including the preparation and review of technical and cost proposals.
  • Performing program financial management services, including financial analysis, budget and cost quote preparation, cost management, reconciliation, and profit enhancement.
  • Coordinating and monitoring sub-contractor activities and administers subcontractor deliverables and finances.
  • Developing, reviewing, and approving plans, schedules, consulting agreements and other program documents.
  • Preparing and providing various reports and technical reviews to senior management as requested.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant corporate and government policies and standards.
  • Participating in special projects as required.
  • Your success will be measured through ability to manage multiple departments or disciplines with the highest complexity.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Education – BA/BS (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ Years of relevant experience
  • Technical skills – Project/Program Management experience; program financial management; business development experience
  • Security clearance level – TS/SCI with Poly
  • Preferred qualifications (optional) – Capture management experience
