SHAREM / SURFREM PROGRAM MANAGER

Job Description

The SHAREM / SURFREM Program Manager is overall responsible for the successful completion of all SHAREM / SURFREM objectives and tasks as defined.

• Manages all contractor SHAREM / SURFREM efforts
• Provides the organizational and administrative control necessary to ensure the services performed meet requirements specified in the contract and task orders stemming from the contract
• Directs and tracks the status of all SHAREM / SURFREM efforts and ensures they are clear, concise, consistent, complete, grammatically and functionally correct, correctly formatted, accurate, and unbiased
• Conducts final editorial review prior to submission of SHAREM / SURFREM deliverables to ensure accuracy of content, appropriate level of detail, and overall quality of the end product
• Provides project status and feedback directly to the COR via frequent personal liaison and monthly written financial and progress reports
• Directs the contractor effort to ensure all SHAREM / SURFREM exercises are planned, observed, reconstructed and analyzed; tactical recommendations/lessons learned are documented, and all accepted data is incorporated into IT databases
• Acts as the liaison between the COR and the contractor team

Position Qualifications: 

Program Manager shall have a minimum of seven (7) years practical experience at a professional level in project management within Department of Defense or U.S Navy. Additional experience shall include the following (which may be gained concurrently):

• Six years of experience is required in managing complex projects or programs
• Capability for preparation of reports and correspondence that are technically correct
• Possession of excellent analytical problem solving skills
• Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

Current Secret clearance required
