Duties of the Field Support Representative III:

  • Supports forward deployed or training activities and operations.
  • Performs analysis of system operations.
  • Completes hardware and accessory installation, software connectivity, technical issues and training.
  • Performs a variety of technical tasks and provides site support.
  • Modifies, moves, and installs a range of new equipment.
  • Troubleshoots a wide variety of hardware and software problems and interconnectivity issues.
  • Performs a wide variety of integrity testing and interviews customers to gather information about problems.
  • Prepares and presents a wide variety of incident/performance reports to the customer and to the service delivery manager.
  • Provides advice and a wide variety of complex onsite training for customer support personnel.
  • May coach and review the work of less-experienced professionals.
  • May serve as a team or task leader. (Not a people manager)

Desired Qualifications:

  • Must have a minimum of AA/AS (or equivalent experience), 8+ years of experience
  • Must have the ability to perform routine system maintenance and computer systems administrative functions.
  • Has knowledge of and is capable of using operating systems and database management systems.
  • Must have experience in fault detection, isolation, and correction of computer systems and individual peripheral devices.
