DevSecOps Engineer - US Citizenship required

We are an established team supporting Customs and Border Protection seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to join our team.
In this role you will:
• Work closely with development and operations staff to implement and support a delivery pipeline that allows for continuous, automated integration, deployment and testing
• Develop improvements to availability, scalability, and performance of the environment
• Support production deployments and issue resolution (during on and off-hours on a rotating basis with other engineers)
Candidate must be local to the National Capital Region. Occasional onsite work but mostly remote.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree combined with at least 3 years of technical experience
- Experience developing and maintaining a continuous integration pipeline using tools such as Jenkins and Bamboo
- Experience automating deployments with software configuration management tools
- Experience scripting and programming for infrastructure automation (e.g. Shell, Python, Bash, etc.)
- Experience with monitoring a production environment with tools like AppDynamics and Splunk
- Ability to research problems, identify a root cause, and recommend and implement a solution
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to collaborate with team members
- Must have the ability to obtain the required government security clearance –
- Experience supporting a development environment utilizing Kubernetes (nice to have)
- Experience with tools such as Git, Maven, Nexus, BitBucket, Stash, Gradle (nice to have)
- CBP Public Trust Suitability (Final/Full BI) needed to start
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: BA/BS or equivalent, 3+ years of experience
