The Project/Task Lead is responsible for developing and managing complex projects to include project team members, customer expectations, and schedules. Responsibilities include, but not limited to, creating project plans, communication plans, allocating tasks and setting milestone.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Results-focused by successfully and continually communicating expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising results; coaching and counseling team members; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
Interviewing new staff and aiding in orienting new employees
Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables with internal teams and external organizations.
Preserves assets by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures and information security and control structures.
Recommends information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
Contributes to team effort by assisting team members with accomplishing daily tasks.
BA/BS, 5+ years experience
Security+CE certification minimum; 8750 IAT II certification at time of hire
Active Secret T-5 Clearance required, Top Secret preferred
Applicants must be available to work on-site in Norfolk, VA
Five plus years of project management
Experience supervising at least 15 employees
