At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As an Asset Manager supporting GDIT, you will be trusted to lead all aspects of Asset Management for assigned projects/programs, both on a day-to-day, Operations and Maintenance, Tactical, and Strategic level.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Works on an energetic and complex team in a dynamic environment with a high level of client interaction.
  • Provides ongoing monitoring, reporting and analysis for SW inventory and entitlement compliance and HW inventory management.
  • Manages the uploading of managed hardware and software assets in into a SAM tool and maintain Asset records.
  • Maintains inventory of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) hardware and serves as program point of contract for Government Property Management.
  • Creates and maintains all documentation and command media related to Asset Management.
  • Creates, manages, and maintains BOM or inventory and tracking documentation for all vendor deliverables for internal and external reporting and management purposes.
  • Leads an implementation project for a Asset Management tool.
  • Presents asset information to the client, such as the status of an asset, the renewal period, entitlement compliance status, where the asset is physically located, and maintenance agreement information.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
  • 10+ years of related work experience in fields such as Information Technology, Engineering, Project Management, or Asset Management.
  • 7+ years of direct Asset Management experience.
  • Experience with procurements of Hardware, Software, ODCs, and Support/License renewals.
  • Experience with software entitlement management.
  • Experience with vendor interface and management.
  • Experience with Asset Management tools, discovery technology, and CMDB.
  • Experience with COTS Product lifecycle management.
  • Experience with presenting to and interfacing with senior executives.
  • Requires ability to pass HHS background check and meet the residency requirement for having resided in the US at least (3) three out of the last (5) five years.
  • Must be able to obtain a public trust clearance if required.
  • Candidate must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder to be considered for this position.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro, Flexera, Aspera, or comparable SW Asset Management tool.
  • ServiceNow certifications or experience.

ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS:

  • Must have strong working knowledge of network discovery technologies.
  • Must have strong organizational skills to inventory, track, and manage all SW and HW assets.
