MPIC, an ACA Program Integrity contract team, is looking for a systems analyst with pertinent business experience to work with ACA enrollment data and relate it to ACA consumer business activity.  The Analyst will use data extracted from complex existing databases to document consumer and agent/broker enrollment activity.

In this role, you will:

  • Become a SME on ACA enrollment data
  • Interface with team data analysts and investigators to ensure that there is a common understanding of consumer and agent activity as represented in the data
  • Work with project data analysts to select appropriate data for extraction from ACA enrollment databases
  • Using Microsoft Excel and other tools, analyze the data to identify all enrollment steps that were taken during consumer enrollment periods
  • Identify ACA/Broker responsibility for enrollment initiation and changes
  • Work collaboratively with project SMEs to ensure that analyses are accurate
  • Compose a succinct, clear description of the business activities represented in the data to be used in deliverables for the client
  • Work closely with project investigators to ensure their understanding of the consumer history documentation
  • Suggest creative and active solutions for identified problems
  • Maintain plans to safeguard PII and PHI
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalency in data analytics or related field
  • At least two (2) years of experience working with enrollment data associated with a CMS program (ACA, Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Part D, etc.)
  • At least five (5) years of experience using Microsoft Excel to represent and analyze data
  • Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Excel, including formulae, pivot tables, charting, graphing, and data tables
  • Experience reviewing complex data reports

  • Ability to effectively communicate analysis results to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience with the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and Federally Facilitated Marketplace (Exchange)
  • Experience with Marketplace enrollment data, especially with the Multidimensional Insurance Data Analytics System (MIDAS)
  • Former government contract experience

The likely salary range for this position is $72,000 - $108,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
