GDIT is seeking a highly motivated, talented individual to provide full time financial support for Navy submarine R&D, SCN and OPN programs.  Support will be provided to program managers at a world-class Navy laboratory facility on a regular basis, working on several high-profile Navy RDT&E and acquisition programs.  Tasks and responsibilities in this role will include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Providing weekly financial tracking, monitoring, and reporting support for assigned Navy RDT&E and acquisition program tasking.  
  • Tracking of monthly financial expenditures for non-government program activities will be required to ensure overall program continuity.
  • Preparing monthly funding summaries of total program expenditures, available balances and projected spending by task and organization.
  • Developing out-year funding requests, including preparation of Task Planning Sheet inputs.
  • Conducting financial analysis and developing spend plans for Cost Reimbursable and Direct Cite funding.
  • Supporting sponsor level financial data calls.


  • BA/BS degree in accounting/finance with 3+ years’ experience.
  • Excellent communication skills required for frequent interaction with program managers, task leaders and non-government partners in a dynamic collaborative team environment.  
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications, with a heavy emphasis on MS Excel and pivot tables.
  • Strong working knowledge and experience with Navy/NAVSEA financial management systems including NEPS and NERP desired.  
  • Financial management of complex Navy projects including multiple sponsors desired.
