HOW SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • An experienced System Administrator passionate about administrating cloud infrastructure and providing solutions to meeting a data-driven organization.
  • Successful candidate will be an experienced action orientated systems administrator with fantastic understanding of cloud architecture and Linux based systems. 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Required Experience:
  • Demonstrate on-the-job engineering experience and/or outstanding in-depth knowledge with different technology solution for Secure Web and Application Services (e.g. Citrix Secure Browser).
  • Demonstrate on-the-job engineering experience and/or outstanding in-depth knowledge with System Monitoring/Management tools such as Nagios and/or Icinga
  • Demonstrate on-the-job engineering design and implementation experience with SAN and NAS technology along with different protocols for each storage technology
  • Support and troubleshoot web applications. This includes deployment of Tomcat applications using AWS and utilizing application and server logs to identify and resolve issues.
  • Demonstrate on-the-job engineering experience and/or outstanding in-depth knowledge with Linux (i.e. RHEL, CentOS, Scientific Linux) and/or Microsoft Windows Server environments and be able to engineer, build, configure, and maintain via Command Line Interface (CLI), as well as support development efforts in tuning/troubleshooting both application and OS level issues.
  • Create and update documentation, including standard operating procedures, administrative instructions, After Action Reports for system outages, task status updates, and customer reports.
  • Support for system and data security requirements, and documented system artifacts required for security certification.
  • Experience with implementing and maintaining encryption technology (PKI authentication, Vormetric, and KMS).Experience with building AWS infrastructure or migrating private on-premise solutions to cloud hosting environments.
  • Firm Relational Database understanding (Oracle, MySQL, Postgres, Kafka)
  • Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI + Poly

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with SysOPs/DevOps.
  • Ability to perform cloud performance analysis and optimize distributed cloud systems.
  • Working knowledge of CloudFormation and Lambda.
  • Experience with scripting languages (Shell, Perl, and Python).
