GDIT is a leading cybersecurity solutions provider to the federal government.  We have an immediate need for a Commercial Solutions for Classified Systems (CSfC) Systems Engineer Expert to drive a team of cyber engineers and analysts focused to ensure we meet our customer’s security services and technology needs. 

The Systems Engineer Expert will support a newly established program and will be responsible for designing, planning, implementing, and documenting NSA CSfC approved solutions. Candidate will work with government engineers on this project to maintain, modify, and design complex systems architectures in an unclassified and classified environment. Candidate will act as a senior technical POC for a range of tasks on the project. To lead this effort, the candidate should have an entrepreneurial spirit to be able to take advantage of new technologies and opportunities as NSA evolves the CSfC solution.

This position requires expert cybersecurity solutions technical background, in particular, aspects like configuration, design, implementation and troubleshooting of NSAs Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC). CSfC will be the basis for this new architecture and knowledge of this system and technology will be essential.

Responsibilities

• Integrate CSfC technology into new and existing systems, including wired, wireless, and mobile access solutions.
• May serve as technical team or task leader.
• Provide Layer 2 and 3 expertise as the senior technical resource of the team.
• Collaborate with other client and stakeholders to design an approved infrastructure.
• Provide technical expertise to engineering teams during complex systems developments.
• Interface with OEM vendors during the design and implementation.
• Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
• Perform special projects and other duties associated with CSfC solutions as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent years of experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or similar relevant field.
• Requires Interim or Secret
• Experience developing and deploying CSfC software and hardware solutions.
• Strong knowledge of NSAs Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) program to include the four-capability packages (MSC, MA, WLAN, DAR).
• Competence with MS Visio and PowerPoint to update and maintain network design documentation, and develop design plans populated among various engineering teams and stakeholders.
• Knowledge with Certificates Authorities (CA) to include Microsoft Server Certificate Services deployments.
• Proven capability to lead engineering teams on complex deployments.
• Excellent ability for clear and concise oral and written communication; capability to interface at multiple levels  and successfully present technical information
• Experience working within the parameters detailed via DISA STIGs.
• Capacity to track, guide, and when necessary mentor multiple teams simultaneously.
• Strict attention to detail; Adherence to rigid guidelines and processes; Ability to validate, update and maintain accurate records.
• Ability to work in a virtual team environment as well as independently.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree or equivalent years of experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or similar relevant field
• Experience with one or more of the following: Mobile endpoints, device management, and architectures including Apple iOS and Android, Windows or Linux server software and technologies, HA and redundancy configurations, Cloud and virtualization software and services, Citrix, VMware, F5 BIG-IP family of load balancers, and, or proxy appliances
• Demonstrated experience in engineering a network for Commercial Solutions for Classified, CSfC capability Packages of Mobile and Data-at-Rest)
• Experience with equipment and vendors such as Cisco Systems, HPE Aruba, Dell Server and Networking, Pacstar, Forcepoint, and Force10.
• Experience implementing system designs as part of an enterprise team.
• Functional working knowledge of Microsoft and Linux/Unix OS variants
