As an Administrative Assistant III, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
The candidate must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment, have· strong written and verbal communication skills, exercise discretion regarding access to sensitive information and employ appropriate customer service skills
No heavy lifting or physical requirements are necessary. No travel other than between buildings on the compound is required
The candidate will primarily execute the transactional functions of a Registrar; and be able to provide support to other members of the Adm in/Registrars team when necessary
The candidate will create sessions, register students, credit course completions and update internal applications, as needed
Candidate will provide confirmation to enrolled officers to reduce the number of students who fail to show up or arrive unexpectedly and also arrange billeting for residential courses as necessary
For courses conducted overseas, the candidate will support the instructors with travel coordination, passports, and visas. OCONUS courses require creating sessions and crediting course completions
The candidate will manage multiple calendars, schedule conference rooms, VTCs and ·input courses into the master course calendar. Candidate may have reason to utilize a GOV for any building-to-building travel.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
HS Diploma and 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
TS/SCI with Polygraph
The candidate is expected to work the hours of (0800 -1600) and should not incur any overtime.
Candidate must be able to operate in a team environment as well as successfully work on their own
