GDIT has an exciting opportunity for an IT Business/Investment Analyst - Secret - Wiesbaden, Germany to support our Enterprise Mission Information Technology Services (EMITS) program supporting U.S. Army Europe in Wiesbaden, Germany.
The IT Business Analyst / Investment Manager is responsible for working directly with the customer to support IT procurements within the theater. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, performing IT requirements analysis, conducting quality assurance reviews, facilitating approvals, maturing a theater‐wide IT Portfolio Management program to manage the overall cost of IT, ensuring IT procurements are executed efficiently in accordance with established policies, and coordinating with program reviewers, customers, and requestors to manage IT procurement activities across the contract.
The candidate will possess an IT Service Management background and understand supply chain best practices along with insight into the Army IT procurement process. This Business Analyst position will require the candidate to have at least 5-8 years of relevant, recent IT Requirement Analysis, procurement, and supply chain management experience and obtain an ITIL V4 certification shortly after hire. The candidate must have the minimum of an active secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI. Experience supporting US Army programs, specifically, US Army Europe is highly preferred.
Provides IT investment analysis and support for the US Army Europe customer.
Performs a variety of complex administrative and analytical tasks in support of one or more contract programs.
Reviews and gives direction regarding policy directed documentation for customer groups, to assist them through the IT investment workflow.
Insures proper budget policies are adhered to and necessary documentation generated for purchasing through multiple contract vehicles
Assists with EMITS contract IT procurement and supply chain activities.
Interacts regularly with customers and other industry representatives to ensure conformance to customer requirements and US Army policies.
Participates in special projects as required.
May provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced analysts.
May serve as a mentor to less experienced analysts.
Secret Level Security Clearance with SSBI Investigation; Top Secret and above preferred
BA/BS Degree with five-plus years of IT investment/supply chain management experience. Years of experience can be substituted for a degree.
Five-plus years of IT Investment/Procurement/Supply Chain Management experience. ITSM and PMP certification is desired.
Must have a current 8750 IAT II certification at time of hire
Must be able to obtain German TESA approval
