Fundamental knowledge of security protocols and authentication (WPA2, EAP-TLS, 802.1x, AAA).
This role must be well versed with the advanced engineering and administration of Cisco devices, multiprotocol (EIGRP, OSPF) routers, multilayer switches, network security devices and network management systems.
Wireless Network Engineers must also be effective communicators with excellent written, verbal communications, and presentation skills in order to collaborate successfully with network technicians, vendors, and managers.

Minimum of six years of experience in design, maintenance, and operation of medium to large networks. Must have experience in systems management, monitoring and sustainment.
Including three to five years specializing in wireless technologies.
Must have experience on military networks.
Cisco routing and switching technologies
Managing networks with industry standard platforms, Network Performance Analysis, Cisco IOS Network Configuration, and Network Troubleshooting
Establishing new circuit requirements
Documenting network enterprise, developing continuity folders, and as built drawings
U.S. Air Force / USAFCENT networking experience desired.
