GDIT is seeking a Cloud Applications Agile Business Analyst who holds active secret clearance, preferred.
The position will support a US Air Force program that is playing a major role in strengthening and modernizing America's Strategic Deterrent Force. GDIT will develop and deliver a digital engineering design solution, which enables and integrates the program’s complete set of data, tools, and model-based systems engineering (MBSE) activities, and makes them available to internal and appropriate external engineering and programmatic stakeholders throughout the program’s lifecycle. This effort will culminate in an abstracted, highly transportable environment delivered to the Government, to be instantiated “virtually” on the Government’s network infrastructure and updated during the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) phase of weapon system development. GDIT’s implementation of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) emphasizes understands the need for compliance, model-based systems engineering (MBSE), and extensive traceability while providing an agile, lean systems, iterative environment for product development. On the Digital Engineer Environment (DEE) Program, this will be accomplished by implementing the SAFe for Large Solutions model.
This will progress from Requirement, to Capability, to Feature, to Story, to Release. The duties of a Cloud Applications Agile Business Analyst will include:
Responsible for acting an Agile Analyst and maximizing and prioritizing the value of work the Cloud Applications team performs.
Responsible for creating, maintaining, prioritizing, and communicating the Product Backlog to create high value and meet business partner requirements.
Serving as a proxy Product Owner
Decomposing Epics into Features and User Stories down to detailed functional and nonfunctional requirements.
Responsible for the requirements gathering and conveying the requirements to the team.
Act as the key decision-maker, along with engaging with business partner, regarding what will be delivered and when.
Participate in Daily Scrum (as needed), Backlog Refinement, Sprint Planning, PI Planning, System Demo and Retrospectives.
Inspect the progress at the end of each Program Increment prior to next by ensuring the Team Roadmap is up to date and that the Features are prioritized accordingly to the customer needs.
Be a champion for governance and processes to ensure team effectiveness
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with all stakeholders, including customers
Participate in Scrum of Scrum meetings to ensure cross-team collaboration and coordination of release plans and integration of testing activities
Assist with internal and external communication, and improving transparency
Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised with an emphasis on problem solving
Identify, address, and communicate project risks, dependencies,
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and at least 4 years related experience as a project team member
A minimum of 2 years' experience in managing projects following Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, Extreme Programming, and SAFe
Experience working with customers in gathering requirements, modeling use cases, writing user stories and documenting business processes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and be effective at communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences
Moderate knowledge of the JIRA tracking tool
Goal oriented, proactive, innovative, hardworking, and patient
Experience on multiple Scrum teams in a variety of different contexts (different team sizes, different organizations, different cultures, co-located vs. distributed, etc.)
Well versed in a variety of agile approaches (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Lean at a minimum)
Active Directory (AD) Experience
Cloud Application Administration
Project Management Experience
BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Management
3+ Years of experience as a Cloud Application Administrator, Cloud Team Manager, or Cloud Project Manager
Proven communication and influence skills – ability to work broadly across disparate groups to gain agreement on direction, mediate and integrate opinions into a cohesive strategy, and present options/recommendations.

The likely salary range for this position is $84,000 - $126,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
