The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Public Trust Suitability clearance, per contract requirements. You will work with the SEC ISS program is a comprehensive IT program charged with operating, managing, and advancing the SEC’s IT infrastructure. Are you ready to do your part and support all Americans in this mission?Responsibilities of the job Task and responsibilities in this role include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Responsible for managing the engineering and design of IT systems across multiple functional areas. 
  • Assist and support transformational activities and pursue increased efficiency through advanced technologies. 
  • Maps functional requirements into technological requirements, and identifies technologies that meet the technological requirements. 
  • Conducts proof of concept, pilots and demos for the purposes of evaluating the suitability of given technologies for meeting requirements. 
  • Evaluates the tradeoffs between competing solutions and develops quantitative driven analysis of alternatives.
  • Performs advanced troubleshooting of complex system issues.
To qualify, you must meet these requirements:

  • Must have a BS/BA with 10+ years of engineering and/or architecting enterprise IT systems. 
  • Active Directory Expertise including, Install, deployment, replication, troubleshooting, Powershell management,  Architecture and planning, upgrades, decommissions, site and subnet management
  • Must have Powershell (User and group account management and troubleshooting, including powershell for mass manipulation)
  • Must have Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS)
  • Splunk search and error process tracking experience
  • Work with Office 365 and Azure to troubleshoot the move to cloud platforms
  • Windows server troubleshooting and disaster recovery, including log reading, service management with scripting, and account control
  • CA Certificate deployment, issuance policies, template control, and HSM management and deployment of certs and assisting teams with cert troubleshooting and deployment, including knowledge of OpenSSLWindows server troubleshooting and disaster recovery, including log reading, service management with scripting, and account control
  • NAS/ DFS Storage manipulation, including DR procedures for storage failover and DFS link management and assigning NTFS permissions
  • Understanding Cyberark and secure password management
  • Detailed knowledge of LDAP/SLDAP for applications and load balancers
  • Must have experience managing multi-discipline server and system operation teams.
  • Must have extensive knowledge of multi-vendor server operating systems.
  • Must possess a Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MSCE) –Server Infrastructure Certification or equivalent relevant experience.
