GDIT is seeking an Oracle Federal Financial Technical Developer for our Healthcare General Ledger Accounting System (HIGLAS) program at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services in Windsor Mill, MD.

This individual will do research, design, develop, and/or modify enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software for Oracle E-Business Financial Modules.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum of 10 years current, hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite Financials.
  • Experience in design, development, customization and implementation on Oracle Financial modules AP, AR, GL and PO and Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2.X
  • Requires Oracle SQL & PL/SQL skills, Oracle Forms, Reports, BI Publisher, SQL*Loader,  Oracle JDeveloper and experience performing the upgrade for Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, OAF and Workflow (RICEOW) in Oracle Applications.
  • Knowledge of service enablement capability (SOAP and REST services) for seeded and custom integration interfaces within Oracle E-Business Suite is Plus.

Education:

  • BS or equivalent + 10 years related experience, or MS + 7 years related experience.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes and evaluates business requirements by working with finance and management and provides recommendations on the nature, scope, and complexity of solutions.
  • Work with the business functional areas to research and identify the best technical solution to support the most efficient business processes.
  • Verification of feasibility of Business User’s request functionality and business rules based on existing technical systems and data model.
  • Develop technical design documentation of Oracle Application dependent data conversions, interfaces, custom reporting.
  • Evaluate all design and coding activities and design detail specifications for all application development.
  • Develop and support customization, extensions, interfaces and reports in an Oracle R12.
  • E-Business Suite applications environment using various Oracle EBS Tools and  techniques, including but not limited to SQL, PL*SQL, Forms, Custom.pll, OAF, Web ADI, Oracle Reports, BI Publisher, Performance tuning, Workflow, etc. with 11g database and Linux OS.
  • Requires troubleshooting skills to Identify, research and propose solutions to problems and accommodate necessary changes or corrective action, as needed.
  • Supports Oracle Financial applications, monitors systems performance and work based on the impact to the business.
  • Coordinate cross-functional IT departments to resolve issues.
  • Produce unit test scripts and support all testing activities.
  • Performs new module implementations, upgrades, and application integrations.
  • Provide post production support on application issues.
