Job Description

Provides solutions to problems and guidance to less experienced field engineers.

Provides guidance on different types of equipment and infrastructure maintenance.

Provides guidance and installs more advanced or new technologies based on the needs of the customer/client.

Provides guidance for assessing if equipment and systems meet compliance standards.

Provides guidance, reports findings and provides solutions for any issues that halt progression.

Provides recommendations and solutions resulting from equipment assessments and checkups.

May coach and review the work of less-experienced professionals.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS in Engineering, Physics or Computer Science, 10+ years of experience

Experience with developing and maintaining digital data acquisition and recording systems.

Experience with data telemetry techniques, high speed network topology, and modern data storage systems.

Experience with system administration of MS Windows and Linux operating systems.
