Qualifications (Required)
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent plus five (5) years related experience or Master’s Degree plus three years related experience
DOD 8140/8570 IAT Level II or higher
Active TS SCI Security Clearance required
Job Functions and Responsibilities
Designs and plans network systems
Provides specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture
Provides specific, detailed information for hardware and software selection, implementation techniques, and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs, including present and future capacity requirements
Conducts testing of network systems
Evaluates and provides reporting on new network technologies to enhance capabilities of the network
Qualifications (Required)
Experience in network engineering, O&M support, requirements analysis, product integration, network database baseline, and progress tracking
Demonstrated experience in network engineering, planning, designing, provisioning, installation, operation, and maintenance
Ability to assess current and future needs and priorities
Experience as a primary contributor to a network engineering team providing network design, build, test, and implementation
Experience with Cisco routing/switching and voice
SolarWinds experience
Experience with IAVM/STIG process Microsoft Domain systems administration, Windows Server, Windows 10, Group Policy, and Active Directory components
Juniper service gateways configuration and maintenance
Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and team skills
Ability to understand the needs of internal clients and translate their input into requirements
Qualifications (Desired)
Experience with classified systems accreditation
VMware vSphere configuration and maintenance
Aruba mobility controller experience
Samsung mobile phones and MDM experience
Clear understanding of PKI and management of PKI infrastructure
Proficiency in PowerShell or other shell scripting tools
