GDIT is seeking a number of Appian Professionals to include a Appian Architect and a few Developers/ Designers to join our team supporting the Modernization of the Administration for Children and Families, Office of Child Care Information System (ACF OCCIS Modernization).

As an Appian Architect some of your responsibilities will include:
Lead thought process on how to best leverage the software to solve business problems – both known and unknown • Leverage deep industry and product-specific knowledge to support the end-to-end software development lifecycle of a large-scale Appian based digital transformation effort • Manage Appian architecture design and security decisions • Provide input on Appian related technical matters, including development approaches, ad hoc technical issues and questions on environment and technical specifications • Work closely with IT teams to manage integration of Appian and other existing core systems • Liaison between business stakeholders, product manager, Appian implementation partners, and senior leadership to ensure business objectives are met and value is captured

As an Appian Developer/ Designer some of your responsibilities will include:
Develop applications in Appian business process management and integrate with other COTS products. • Develop and implement the Appian and web-based applications. • Create various document artifacts including design/ technical approach document, target state diagrams, installation instructions, Visio diagrams, etc. • Building critical Appian based application as well as associated integration components in Java. • Provide technical guidance to mid-level developers as and when required. • Participate in customer and team meetings to support various program tasks including design review, stage gates, technical roadmap, production troubleshooting including performance issues, etc. • Work closely with release manager to ensure completion of key tasks including deployment, code baseline and merge, version control, etc. • Work throughout the entire project life cycle (requirements review, technical design, development, deployment and maintenance)
Bachelors Degree and 2 plus years of experience- Mid Level
Bachelors Degree and 5 plus years- Senior Level
