Please take this opportunity to join one of GDIT’s fastest-growing long-standing Programs!  US Battlefield Information Collection and Exploitation Systems eXtended (USBICES-X) is a cutting edge Program supporting DOD intelligence information sharing on current and emerging global threats to mission and coalition partners and emerging nations.  With an internationally dispersed team supporting each combatant command, the USBICES-X team is in direct support of the warfighter and their missions.  We are seeking a creative and driven professional with a passion for solving real-world issues on a cross-functional, fast-paced team.

The USBICES-X Coalition Integration lab (CIL) is the enduring solution for intelligence sharing.  Meeting the challenge of complex 21st century operational requirements, the USBICES-X CIL is a leader in making systems and tools available to trusted stakeholders in a distributed, Coalition Shared Data environment.  Located at JB Langley-Eustis, the CIL provides a reliable resource to advance the Initial Operating Capability of NATO Joint Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain databases for inventory control processes to account for property received, shipped, excess, moved, or in transit.  Prepare reports on logistics performance measures
  • Assist with inventory, shipping, and receiving
  • Track product flow from origin to final delivery
  • Provide material handling coordination support to include shipping, receiving, storage, and disposition of property
  • Inspect inbound inventory for accuracy and completeness, defects, or notable damage and log/report discrepancies
  • Maintain and enter logistics-related data into databases or information systems in accordance with Program policies
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, bins, or containers according to predetermined sequence
  • Interact professionally and exhibit customer service skills and be able to present a positive approach with customers and peers
  • Review and reconcile vendor’s invoices to identify errors, irregularities, and make adjustments as needed
  • Liaison with other Government agencies to facilitate the transfer and transport of assets, supplies, and equipment
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
     

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 0 years of experience required.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of related work experience
  • Must possess and maintain a Secret clearance
  • Familiar with handling and storage principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
     

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient knowledge of shipping procedures and operations with various carriers and freight forwarders
  • Hazardous material and/or hazardous waste handling certificate desired
