  • Lead team of operations, architectural, and development staff covering multiple cloud projects and initiatives
  • Primary point of contact with federal clients and stakeholders
  • Build assets and services required in the architecture.
  • Work with the customer to integrate the Cloud environment into their existing environments.
  • Work with the development team to ensure that the architecture will support the proposed applications.
  • Work with a team of DevOps/SecOps Engineers to architect and deliver AWS solutions.
  • Support and advise on application assessment, migration and modernization.
  • Guides the successful completion of major engineering programs.
  • Develops advanced solutions to highly complex engineering problems.
  • Drives scalability and operability of supported systems/infrastructure.

Provides technical, administrative, and operational management of assigned project or tasks, including contract and subcontractor management.

Typically supervises assigned staff, may include subordinate supervisors.

Participates in the development of technical project plans, proposals, reports, and task order and administrative reporting.

May also perform high level technical services on assigned tasks.

Conducts planning and provides recommendations to client on task workload.

Manages risk tracking process.

Attends customer meetings and may serve as client liaison

Interacts with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff on behalf of the client.

Coordinates development of deliverables and products.

Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables.

Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.

Participates in special projects as required.

Key Requirements:

  • U. S. Citizen
  • Ability to secure a Public Trust clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline
  • 5 years experience in leading
  • PMP certificate
  • 1+ years’ AWS experience in a program delivery role.
  • Expertise in cloud service delivery models
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and demonstrated experience working with stakeholders and development teams
  • Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing to convey cloud technologies and solutions to customer personnel
  • Ability to work within a collaborative team and a fast-paced dynamic environment.

Desired:

  • 1+ years’ experience working within a DevSecOps/DevOps environment, utilizing AWS services, solutions, and provisioning/automating AWS infrastructure, services and tools.
  • Experience with third-party tools, including Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible Knowledge of end-to-end modern agile software development.
  • AWS Cloud Certification
  • Agile Certification
  • ITIL Certification

Location:

  • Virtual, with the ability to travel to Sioux Falls, South Dakota. For example, a couple of weeks at start up and one week every few months.
