GDIT is seeking a Software Developer to help support the Navy’s airborne Electronic Warfare Database Support (EWDS) program.
As a Software Developer, for the EWDS program in Point Mugu, California you will be responsible to manage, sustain, and improve on the Electronic Warfare Database Solution (EWDS).
In this role, a typical day will include:
Researches, designs, develops, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software
Builds queries and writes functions to optimize the utilization of the EWDS database
Work directly with the development and analysis team to ensure functionality is correct and issues are solved
Add new functionality and write small interface applications as required
Qualifications:
Active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance
BS (or equivalent experience)
3+ years experience collecting and analyzing data and solving complex problems
Experience connecting and using queries and stored procedures from a SQL database
Experience with Swing GUI library
Good organizational and management skills
Desired Qualifications:
Ability to solve complex problems in a dynamic environment

U.S. Citizenship Required
The likely salary range for this position is $92,000 - $138,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
