Job Description

GDIT is seeking a Software Developer to help support the Navy’s airborne Electronic Warfare Database Support (EWDS) program. 

As a Software Developer, for the EWDS program in Point Mugu, California you will be responsible to manage, sustain, and improve on the Electronic Warfare Database Solution (EWDS).

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Researches, designs, develops, and/or modifies enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software

  • Builds queries and writes functions to optimize the utilization of the EWDS database

  • Work directly with the development and analysis team to ensure functionality is correct and issues are solved

  • Add new functionality and write small interface applications as required


  • Active DoD Secret Level Security Clearance

  • BS (or equivalent experience)

  • 3+ years experience collecting and analyzing data and solving complex problems

  • Experience connecting and using queries and stored procedures from a SQL database

  • Experience with Swing GUI library

  • Good organizational and management skills

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $92,000 - $138,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
