GDIT is seeking a Program Manager in support of the Health and Behavioral Sciences department at the Naval Health Research Center.
The mission of Health and Behavioral Sciences Department at NHRC is to optimize the operational health and readiness of our Armed Forces by conducting research and development (R&D) to inform DoD policy and practice. NHRC also engages in research efforts to promote the health and readiness of service members and their families including physical mental and behavioral health. The department examines operationally relevant issues affecting personnel and examines career-span health and wellness issues. These issues are investigated through both operational data collection in the field and database epidemiological studies. Legacy databases/systems used for these analyses include, but are not limited to, NHRC's Career History Archival Medical and Personnel System (CHAMPS), the Pharmacoeconomics Center's (PEC) Pharmacy Data Transaction Service (PDTS), and deployment data from the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC).
Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or similar field
5+ years of experience in project or program management involving Federal human subject research.
A certificate in public health (CPH) is required.
A knowledge of military behavioral health research and experience working in a military research environment is highly desired.
