Join GDIT and be a part of the team of men and women that solve some of the world's most complex technical challenges. The Personnel Modernization (PersMod) program is seeking a Linux Administrator to join their team in New Orleans, LA. 

  • Maintain Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Environment

  • Provide LINUX administration in the following functions: LINUX server deployment, optimization, application design / architecture, system upgrades and patching.

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose advanced LINUX server issues, including reliability issues, performance concerns, and software bugs.

  • Assist in the design and implementation of existing and new technologies and services in support of program / project initiatives.

  • Acknowledgement and Remediation of findings in the weekly vulnerability scan remediation process (ACAS)

  • Perform DISA Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIG) on systems as necessary 

  • Ensure Operating System is in compliance with DoD-mandated directives

  • Perform Installation, Patching, Backups and Recovery


Basic Qualifications:
  • BA/BS (or equivalent experience)

  • 5+ years of experience with Linux Systems Administration

  • Security+

  • Secret clearance
