Bachelors Degree or the equivalent combination of education, technical training or work experience, including US Navy Electronics Technician training & experience.

8+ years of related experience.

During aircraft carrier new construction (SCN) and/or complex overhaul (RCOH) assist the customer as the subject matter expert for US Naval RF communications topside (antennae) specialist. Office to shipyard work ratio (85/15). Provide support in the shipping, storage/staging, tracking, and reporting on the logistics of the physical antennae; inspect for damage and report, maintain accurate status of each antennae that will be removed, installed, refurbished, upgraded, or otherwise be part of the completed communications configuration; assist in the preparation of the optical blockage surveys, (OABS); make reports to the customer of all positive/negative status; provide oversight of physical installation of platforms and foundations, inspect for adherence to SID/IRD for site preparation for flatness, roundness, and bolt hole alignments, report findings.
