General Dynamics is seeking individuals to work on our customer's Enterprise Service Desk supporting the Southern Command's daily mission.
Chosen analyst will:
Assist with troubleshooting various hardware and software issues that arise within US SOUTHERN COMMAND end users.
Document issues using trouble ticketing system (i.e. ServiceNOW).
Provide expertise in the formulation of systems' scope and objectives.
Determine operational objectives by studying business functions, gathering information and evaluating output requirements and formats.
Design and develop computer system specifications that are appropriate for users' needs and consistent with the overall design of the organization's/customer's information systems architecture standards.
Create or modify procedures to solve technical problems related to computer systems and programs.
Collect and perform analysis on information from system users to formulate the scope and objectives of the system with moderate supervision.
Prepare in-depth flow charts, models, and procedures along with conducting feasibility studies to design possible system solutions.
Conduct form design and layout activities with moderate guidance from manager.
Perform preparation of systems specifications.
Under moderate supervision, prepare and maintain technical documentation to guide system users and to assist with the ongoing operation, maintenance, and development of systems.
Applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.
Perform analysis and system designs.
Requirements:
1+ years of "hands on" experience performing troubleshooting of IT issues and providing solutions.
AA/AS Degree (or equivalent experience)
Secret Clearance required to start with ability to obtain a TS/SCI
Computing Environment certification.(e.g., MD-100 or MD-102 etc.)
AND
DoD 8570.01 IAT-II certification (e.g., Security + CE or equivalent)
