Be part of the System Engineering Team in support of the Drug Enforcement Administration’s Firebird Infrastructure Technology Services (FITS) program. The person will be responsible evaluating, designing, building, testing, implementing and supporting enterprise-class IT solutions to meet functional, technical, operational, security and performance requirements while following established, Agile implementation processes. Specific responsibilities include developing and analyzing requirements and use cases; identifying and evaluating solutions to meet requirements; developing and testing technical solutions in a lab environment, implementing approved solutions in a production environment; and developing and maintaining requirements specifications, design documents, implementation plans, test plans, administrator guides and other documentation as required. Candidate must possess excellent oral and writing skills as well as be an effective communicator within a team atmosphere.
