Primary Responsibilities:
Manages and oversees the software builds and releases.
Directs the work of engineers to ensure the best practices around design and development of builds, scripts, installation procedures, and systems including source code control and issue tracking.
Responsible for implementing and managing systems and components through the release process in development, test, and installation.
Collaborates with engineering and operational staff to build appropriate test environments.
Creates and maintains the Release Schedule to schedule Release & Deployment dates.
Coordinates releases between all projects to assure efficient project resource use. Works closely with a quality assurance team to ensure final version is up to organizational standards.
Coordinates releases with pending service requests.
Maintains a release repository of lessons learned from previous releases.
Desired Certifications/Experience:

- ITIL v3 or v4
- Experience with CMMI Level 3 process development and execution
- Excellent project management and time-management skills
- Ability to present technical information to non-technical management and staff
- Focus on quality and attention to detail.
- Strong communications skills and ability to work well with a variety of technical teams.
- Experience in a variety of platforms that may include .net, C#, JavaScript, HTML, XML, etc…
Education Requirements:
Higher Education Degree in Information Technology, Service Management, or related field; or commensurate level of experience based on position level (Associate, Journeyman, Senior, etc….).
Additional experience in lieu of formal education will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
